My warrior is happy... it was a good enough excuse for her to get a new outfit. Although I still think it was more out of vanity than anything else.
Anyway, she can still pretty much shrug off any additional damage... MENDING FTW!

It seems like a such a small thing that I don't think I've even ever considered saving up for a superior absorbtion. I've forgotten that I don't have it.

Runes are GLOBAL people. I can't believe how many times I've seen comments like this. Moving it from one place to another won't help you. Getting two absorbtion runes won't help you. The only absorbtion that is location specific is the absorbtion thats built into the knights/ascalon armor.
As for the nerf, aside from apparently confusing many people, I do notice a lot more elemental damage. Taking more damage from a wand than a hammer is just wrong.

Weve had some time to test it out. so how is it for everyone?

Personally, I haven't played my warrior since. She's mainly used for Hydra farming, not sure how well she'd do against them Hydras now. Maybe I need to bring Defy Pain now instead of Glad's Defense.

Tried 3-man FoW with a war tank, didn't notice any difference since we did the run before the change. The warriors I know are still playing their warriors, and all seems well...

Things are still the same for me, but my Warrior's success in the Fissure of Woe solo has dropped quite a bit. That added damage against the spiders can hurt.
Other than that, there hasn't been a problem. I need to run and heal more often (Healing Signet ftw), but nothing much else.

This is the biggest difference that I've noticed. It is much, much more difficult to solo some of the harder challenges in the game with my warrior when you're getting nailed by elemental damage (e.g. the Arcanists in the desert missions really pack a whallop nowadays - often it takes only 3-4 stoning attacks before I die). That being said, I can still do it, but it just takes a bit more time.
Most warriors in PvE groups aren't that affected because they have adequate monk support/focused more on stances.
I don't run, but I would expect that many runners are having difficulties as well going through some of the tricker running spots (e.g. Beacons--->Droknars).

Hmm, just wondering, would this make an evasion Ranger tank more desirable in comparison? Rangers have high elemental armor already and can stay in 75% evasion stance 100% of the time.

Yes it has, my Axe using Ranger can now depend on players using an IDS FDS or ICE BREAKER. I take less damage then my Warrior in many area's of the game. Damage reduction vs all damage was the warriors biggest advantage. heh.... not any more.
I have played my warrior less and less these days. That 3 points of damage in PvE really adds up over 3 minutes of game play. Whereas I could tank through many areas in the game and not worry about damage I just can't do that anymore. Even the SIN's are using elemental damage in AB and missions such as Aspenwood. This NERF has really severely damaged the Warrior. I’m now in the process of getting rid of my 15k Glads and working on 15k Dreadnaughts.

Heh I told everyone numerous times, the wands will be the only thing that would have serious increase in damage on warriors.

changed my Gladiator's armor to Sentinel's. I have less energy, but the damage coming in is tolerable.

i just wonder if it now puts elemental hilts above vampiric in usefulness, someone would have to do the math.

Here's my basic take on that math:
3 extra damage from vampiric
3 less damage negated with an elemental hilts.
For hammers/bows...
5 extra damage from vampiric
3 less damage negated with elemental hilts.
So, vampiric is the same or better.
